Generation falls for boring reasons far more often than dramatic ones. Before assuming a fault, check the following.

  • Dust or bird droppings on the modules
  • A new shadow from construction or a growing tree
  • Seasonal variation - July and August are naturally lower
  • A tripped DC or AC breaker
  • One string disconnected at the DCDB
  • Inverter derating due to poor ventilation
  • Grid voltage outside the inverter operating window

If cleaning and a breaker check do not restore output, log a service request with your plant capacity and the inverter error code. Our team usually diagnoses the issue over the phone.
